AB - After Christmas Eli and Oliver can sleep together.

Mommy - Why after Christmas?

AB - Because I’ve already made my Christmas list and there won't be enough room in my room for Eli any more.

 

Mommy just giggled and said something crazy about all three of us sharing a room.. I think it's still early, she either hasn't had enough coffee or my reasoning isn't solid.  I'll keep working on it...

 

 

A Mom Can Only Hope...

AB- So when I grow up I'm going to go to Virginia Tech
Mommy - That's a great idea. I'll come up on weekends and bring picnics for you and your girl friends before the football games.
AB- That's ok, we are going to go to McDonalds after the games for a milkshake or slushie...

Mommy - "How many kids are you going to have?"
AB - "Depends how rich I am. I'll get one and I can buy more from God. I'll put money in the offering can."

The secret is out, I know where babies come from.

Boosterthon Fun

My school had their first fundraiser.... It wasn't selling wrapping paper... It wasn't selling cookie dough.... It wasn't selling oranges.... It was a fun run.... I had to get pledges for running laps.. They wanted us to run 25-35 laps....

 

 With the help of Daddy sneaking me gatorade as I came around each lap, guess how many laps I finished??

Here I am a the end, with 37 laps finished!!! I'm a running rock star!!!!

Speed Racer

If you know my mommy, you know she has a bit of a lead foot. She has slowed down since becoming a mom, but one weekend in November she got the chance to go to Blacksburg by herself for a football game ( if you know her, you know she hasn't gotten a treat like that in a long time and how happy she had to have been to get back to her alma mater).

Long story short, she didn't get out of town before she got a speeding ticket. She says she just wasn't paying attention because she was dancing to the music.... Ummm, people her age shouldn't be dancing, but that's another post. Anyway, she was sent to driving class. Here is how our conversation went when she told me

Mommy - I have to go to driving school.
Me - are they going to make you drive around with one of those signs on the top of your car?

That's a legitimate question, right?  I'm thinking she might slow down if she had one of those, just saying......
