In case you don't know, Mars is farther away than Heaven. Heaven is in the clouds and space is above the clouds and Mars is in space.

What I'm Going to Be When I Grow Up

Preface - we were talking about astronauts and how you go to college to be an astronaut by studying aerospace engineering in school....

AB - Can you be anything you want to be when you grow up?
Mommy - Yes, you can be anything you want to be.
AB - Except a Prince or a Princess, right?
Mommy - Yes, you have to be born one of those.
AB - What's a Mommy called in college?
Mommy - A Mommy...
AB - Ok, I just wanna go to college and be a plain ole' Mommy...

Childrearing Has Changed

So while reading a chapter in Pipi Longstocking this afternoon, I learned a new word.... Spanking.
I asked Mommy what was a spanking? Never heard it before, apparently I've never had one either.

Definitions

Mommy - You are good at negotiation.

AB - What's negotation?... Sneakiness....

Mommy - Not exactly.

Olympic Swimmer

Maybe I'm not quite ready for the summer games, but I am well on my way. This winter Daddy signed me up for swim lessons. At first I was a little apprehensive about it, but in no time I took to the water like a fish! I graduated from my first swim class this week - complete with a certificate and a badge!

Don't think you'd say I am "swimming"  yet, but i can put my head under, blow water bubbles, slide into the pool, and I'm  pretty good on the pirate raft! We're moving on to the next level next week and Eli is going to join us. Once he gets as good as me, we could be a killer swim team duo or a synchronized swimming pair!

Watch out water, here we come!

My Lunch Prayer at School Today

At school we get jobs and today my job was prayer. We pray when we eat and when it's our job to pray, we can say any prayer we want. Here's my prayer for today....

“Thank you for the food, God and thank you for making the humans.  Amen”
